#03 Jesus, The First and the Last.
I am the first and I am the last, and apart from me there is no God (Isaiah 44:6).
I am, not ‘we are’ but ‘I’ am, he did not say he was the second, some say he was the second person, he said ‘I am the first…and the last. He also said ‘I am the beginning and the end, Alpha and Omega’ (Revelation 1:8 Revelation 21:6 and) implying that there is nothing in between there is no interim deity, there’s no one in the middle to stand in the gap, He’s the first true GOD and the last God, which means he’s the only ‘true’ God. He’s the First Saviour and the ‘only God and Saviour,’ (Jude 1:25) which mean he’s is both ‘our Great God and Saviour’ ( Titus 2:13). See both his title and his office is everlasting. Since he is the only God and Saviour then he is the ‘everlasting father’ (Isaiah 9:6). You can’t be the only God and not be everlasting, you can’t be the only Father and not be Eternal! (Jude 25).
