Unlike many of todays so called gospel message, the apostles salvation message or message of salvation was based on Jesus words, Matthew 28:19-20 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, John 3;5 states, ‘Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.’
Disciples are made via born of water and Spirit that is water baptism and Holy Ghost baptism as one baptism that takes place upon repentance, thereby giving remission of sins and reception0of the Holy Ghost.
This was the practice of the apostles and the early church as we see in the conversion 0f the Jews in Acts 2 where salvations brought to the Jews and also in Acts 19 where salvation comes to the Gentiles. ‘Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.’
This theme is continues in every individuals salvation in acts. why acts? because that’s where the very first disciples were made. Acts is the beginnings of the actions of the apostles and church. No one was born again until after the death of Jesus that made salvation from sin and death possible for all mankind.
Here is the key Acts was written and took place twenty four years before Romans 10 the scripture which many use as an alternative salvation message, but this proves that the apostles did not preach the Romans 10;9 message in the times of Acts. for these twenty four years they preached the apostles doctrine where they demanded and commanded the repentant to be baptised in the name of Jesus for the remission of all sins, as saith the scriptures.
