He God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples made by human hands. Nor is He served by human hands, as if He needed anything, because He Himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else. From one man He made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and He determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their lands. God intended that they would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us. ‘For in Him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are His offspring.’ Therefore, being offspring of God, we should not think that the Divine Being is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by man’s skill and imagination. Although God overlooked the ignorance of earlier times, He now commands all people everywhere to repent. (Acts 17:24-27).
To know God is life eternal. and this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent”1. (NIV). ‘You’ singular the ‘only true God’ (singular), God alone ‘and’ KAI meaning ‘even he who is’ God.
Lord of all. ‘Master’ no one can serve two masters
The Lord he is God (Psalm 100:1).
Thou shall serve the Lord they God and him only shalt thou serve (Matthew 4:10)
The Lord of heaven and earth (Acts 17:24) HE is LORD.
God who made the world and everything in it, since he is LORD of heaven and earth Acts 17:24).
Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that JESUS is LORD (Philippians 2:10-11). ‘that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth..’
To be Lord of heaven and earth one must be its creator, owner, caretaker and master.
and its in him we live and move and have our being. (Acts 17:28) this knowable, visible, tangible, God who made from one blood, ‘his blood’ every nation. the blood of God which he purchased the church (Acts 20;28) Where did this God get his blood from? JESUS (But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7)
CONCLUSION: Jesus is both father and Son. Jesus is God! Do you know this?
